I thought of Black Tie as I knew from past experience they often had cars dropping off at the airport. I hoped today was one of those days since our personal car unforuntely overheated on our way home from Oakland airport to Livermore. The dispatcher was very professional and informed me a car was indeed dropping off at Oakland airport and could be to us in 20-30 minutes. In 10 minutes Vaughn, our driver arrived and helped us load our luggage, my 84 y/o handicapped mother with her walker and helped my pregnant daughter into the car. What a relief to have reliable transportation we could trust.

From the first phone call my requests were handled professionally and they gave me options which is so much fun for planning a special occasion. My fiancé reserved a BMW with champagne, and he proposed that night!! Another time we picked up our in-laws at the airport and it made them feel so special and my husband and I didn't have to lap around SFO so many times and fight traffic. We rented a shuttle for our corporate group in an Escalade and the driver Matthew was so kind and knew us by first name which was so personal. The rides are clean and shiny all beautiful rides not cheap but worth every penny.

I used Black Tie on 4 different occasions this past weekend and I am glad I did. We had requested their 21-seat bus but were upgraded to their new 30-seater. Everyone on the ride said this was possibly the best bus they've ever been on. It even had complimentary Wi-Fi. Roger was our driver, and he was great. Very professional. Also arranged an airport pick up last minute and they were super accommodating. Suzette and her team were great to deal with. I would highly recommend using them. Sure they may be a tad bit more expensive than their competition but you are guaranteed excellent service and a great vehicle. Well worth the peace of mind in my opinion.

We chartered a 31-seat bus for Prom. When we had filled nearly all the seats, we upgraded to a 41-seat bus. Staff on the phone was always very helpful and accommodating and very good with communication--they clearly have a lot of experience. We did have to point out that they had made an error in their quote, but it was remedied with no problem. The bus was nice and clean and on time, the driver, Bob, was professional and experienced, and the kids liked him. Would definitely use again.

Black Tie is so, so wonderful! We booked a ten-passenger limo bus for our wedding party and family, then booked a getaway car for the end of our wedding. Jennifer, their wedding specialist, is a gem! She is super responsive, helpful in figuring out your needs, and gets things booked and done so quickly. Our drivers were prompt, personable, and so helpful in helping older family in and out of the vehicle and even helping with transporting gifts from our wedding back to the hotel. They're well priced and wonderful!

Black Tie provided a shuttle bus for my recent wedding at the Brazilian Room in Tilden Park. I was initially going to only book an SUV for my bride and I but it wound up not being substantially more expensive to book a 19-passenger shuttle bus to move the whole wedding party. Joslyn helped us with booking everything. I only booked it 2 weeks prior to the event but there were no issues. I had my (at the time) fiancée call in to pay with my card and they did not give her any trouble. Our driver, David, was there on-time (actually a little early) and was very good at communicating with me. He offered us chilled water bottles when we boarded, and after a stressful day and hours of photos, it was a welcome treat. The bus itself was very nice, it looked to be a year or less old. David was very flexible and gave me his cell phone number to summon him whenever we needed a ride. At the end of the night, he didn't seem to mind me and my rowdy friends heading back to our hotel. All told, it was a great experience, and I would recommend their services.

Kimberly T., the rep who helped me was very professional, thorough, and caring. She made sure every detail was taken care of and went above and beyond. Sat night I attended a lovely fundraiser on Mt Diablo. Black Tie Transportation was responsible for moving 500 plus guests from Monte Vista High School to the remote site on top of Mt Diablo. They were tasked with getting us all up trails not roads in theses enormous luxury busses. The drivers were fun and courteous the busses were amazing and on a day that topped 100 degrees the busses were like ice boxes on the inside so refreshing and comfortable. I've used them for 10-15 years now as my go-to for airport travel. Always been on time, clean comfortable cars, very friendly and knowledgeable drivers -- they know and will use the back routes when needed. And I don't have to deal with the insane traffic on my way to SFO. Can be a bit pricey, but worth every penny to me. Highly recommended.

We recently used Black Tie Transportation for our three-day staff retreat in San Francisco which entailed moving 156 people to and from the airport and to different activities around the city. They were amazing. The drivers were professional, extremely nice and accommodating, informative, and always on time. Black Tie was truly a pleasure to deal with. From the very beginning phone call answered by Crystal to the driver Jake. I had them pick up my elderly parents at Oakland airport and drive to San Jose. The driver was wearing a mask and gloves the whole time, and the car was super clean. They were on time and waiting with a name card, even though the flight arrived 30 mins early. The driver helped load and unload heavy luggage at the airport and even brought it upstairs inside my parents’ home. The overall cost was expensive as it included a service fee and gratuity (which they were very transparent about up front) but was worth every penny. I plan to use Black Tie every time I need chauffeured service going fwd.

We used Black Tie on recommendation of friends. The office was most accommodating in the scheduling of our transportation-even for an extra early AM pick-up. Upon our return flite from Heathrow Airport we were lucky to arrive back in San Francisco 30 minutes early. To our surprise our driver Bruce was already there and waiting! Bruce is excellent. He had the car right outside the door of the airport. No need to walk into the parking lot or call for a driver who is waiting off site somewhere.

We hired a car for a day of scheduled tastings in the Wine Country. The car was comfortable and clean, and our driver, Brad really added value to the experience. He was very professional but friendly and got us to our tastings on time. Before we even left the hotel to begin our day, the car was hit by another guest and rendered unusable. No problem! Within 20-30 minutes a replacement car was delivered, and we were on our way. Highly recommend this service, and especially Brad. Will definitely use again!

Black Tie provided a 4-bus shuttle transportation for a 200 person Lafayette wedding in August of 2018. Between a couple of hotels, an offsite parking lot; all to the wedding venue where parking wasn't allowed. They came out in advance, reviewed the entire plan, and made adjustments for the evening as necessary. A number of guests after the event commented on how great the shuttle service and drivers were. Jennifer manages wedding venues and was available whenever and throughout the entire process. From top notch drivers to water for all the guests before and after. Really excellent service

We could not have asked for better for the transportation for our wedding. We had a full bus load of international guests who were nervous about driving out here, so a bus was essential, and Black Tie made everything easy. Despite picking two venues that weren't easy to get to and having different numbers using the bus at each stage, Black Tie ensured everything went perfectly. Not only that but dealing with them before the wedding was genuinely pleasant, they sent us cards wishing us luck and thanking us for being great customers, really, we couldn't have asked for more. Great assistance in answering questions before we even booked. and once we had, they were always so prompt to address our concerns and even schedule changes! Great driver. great drinks. Roomy, carried a lot of luggage, and AC was a lifesaver for a hot June wedding. kept us on schedule got to pick up the groom, drop off at church, then pick up bride and family and bridal party. we had SO MUCH FUN from the church to the venue. then to nearby photoshoot area and back to the venue where we hung out for a bit before entrances. Thank goodness, the driver was so flexible!

This Limo Service was fantastic! We booked them for my wedding this fall so we could continue the party after we the left the wedding venue. The driver showed up 20 minutes early and was incredible. The bar was fully stocked with great liquor and beer, and not cheap beer but Lagunita’s brews. Unfortunately, the bus that we booked had engine problems, so they set us up with a different bus and were so friendly and even took $300 off of our agreed price! This company is incredibly classy, fun, and professional. I will absolutely book them again in the future without hesitation. It can sometimes be stressful booking something like this because you don't always know what you will get, but I can absolutely say that black tie exceeded our expectations.

Choosing a transportation company for something as important as a wedding can be scary. Reviews are all over the place, and every company seems to have some pretty serious horror stories. Luckily, no horror story here: we chose to go with Black Tie, and they were everything we could have wanted. We purchased three days' worth of transportation with black tie: one day with an 8 person stretch limo, one day with a 40-person motor coach, and one day with a 30-person executive coach. In every instance, everything worked out perfectly.

I've been using black tie for over a year now to get to work in mountain view. It's been a great experience, always on time, always reliable, and a comfortable ride. I made a request completely last minute for a company event after my other transportation bailed. Black Tie was able to accommodate my request 36 hours before the event and at a better price! Their service was awesome considering I was on site prepping for an event for 6,300 attendees. I worked online with Lauren who was awesome. The day of the event came, and my driver Daniel couldn't have been better! He was kind and hilarious, always keeping our guests and employees in good spirits.
