Is this your first time going wine tasting? Don’t worry, we’ve got your back!

It can feel a little intimidating walking into a tasting room if you’re not sure how things work. Do you swirl? Should you finish every glass? How many wineries are just right for one day?

Take a deep breath (and a long sip), we’re here to help you feel like a pro.

Spring is the perfect time to explore Wine Country. The vines are waking up, the sun is out, and the hills are painted green.

Whether you’re planning a girls’ trip, a romantic date, or a group outing, it’s all about enjoying the day, discovering new wines, and soaking in the views.

DO: Make a Reservation

Most wineries now require reservations, especially for larger groups or seated tastings. Booking ahead is the safest way to guarantee entry, especially during peak season. Some wineries do offer walk-ins, but availability can be limited, so it’s always best to call ahead and confirm before you go.

DON’T: Wear Strong Fragrances

That amazing new perfume? Save it for later. Fragrances can interfere with the aromas of the wine and affect your tasting experience (and those around you).

DO: Drink Water Between Tastings

Stay hydrated to keep your palate fresh, and your day enjoyable. Our Chauffeurs always keep water stocked and chilled for your ride.

DON’T: Show Up on an Empty Stomach

Tasting wine without eating first is a recipe for a rough day. Even small pours add up quickly, especially on an empty stomach. Eat a solid breakfast before you go and consider planning a lunch stop between wineries to keep your energy (and enjoyment) up.

DO: Ask Questions

Wineries love when guests engage! Don’t be shy, ask about the vineyard, the wine-making process, or food pairings. The more curious you are, the more you’ll get out of the experience.

DON’T: Overdo It

Pace yourself, wine tasting is about quality, not quantity. You don’t need to finish every glass; tastings are meant to help you explore different flavor profiles, not power through them. Sip slowly, ask questions, and take it all in. A good rule of thumb? Stick to 2–3 wineries in one day with a lunch break in between. We’re happy to help build a tasting itinerary that balances fun and flavor.

DO: Plan a Safe Ride

This one’s easy, let us drive! Whether it’s just the two of you or a group of twelve, we’ll get you there and back safely, comfortably, and in style. From luxury sedans to spacious Sprinters, our fleet is ready.

Bonus Tip: Be Present
Put your phone down for a moment, take in the view, and savor each sip. Wine Country is just as much about the scenery and the company as it is about the wine.
